Junior Book Club

My daughter and I want to start a book club to keep up with summer reading. We were thinking we would do the Addy American Girl Series but I don't think that would keep a bunch of "going into 5th graders" interested.

Some other suggestions are:

Hoot
Lemony Snicket
Diary of a Wimpy Kid I would like to know more about this series!

I also have some historical fiction that I want to read with her. Anything biblical written at her level would be great too! She reads at about the 6th or 7th grade level and will read just about anything! Any other suggestions?

About Our Home Parties

Our Home Parties are geared towards providing YOU with the ultimate experience in shopping for your 18" doll.  While or clothes fit the American Girl Doll ©, the Target Our Generation Doll ©, and the Madame Alexander Favorite Friends© doll, we are not affiliated with any of these companies. Each Emily Rose @Home consultant is an independent business owner whose primary focus is to provide you the products that you need in an environment that is comfortable for you.  We call it "bringing the fun home!"

Our parties are designed to reward the hostess with as much product as possible.  So if you decide to host a party, here's what you get:

• Every hostess who has at least 10 confirmed guests at her party receives a FREE Emily Rose outfit
• PLUS ALL hostesses receive a shopping credit worth 10% of the total online, catalog and party sales. (Since parties average between $500 and $1,000 in orders, that's a nice little shopping spree for you and the little girl and your life)

Alternatively, you can choose to host a catalog party.  The only difference is that a catalog party must have 10 distinct orders.

No time to shop?

Hello everyone,

Hope all is well with YOU! 

I just wanted to tell you all about a service I will be offering.  I know time is tight these days, with summer starting and the kids in their activities.  I thought I could provide a service that could help you save time. 

Here's how it works:

1.  You tell me the types of doll outfits you or your child are looking for (sports, dressy, sleep time, blue etc.), and your budget.

2.  I'll go through my website at www.emilyroseathome.com/margaretrogers and select up to 10 outfits that might be of interest.

3.  You select the outfits that you want to purchase and send me your payment information and I will enter the order for you.  Alternatively, once you have outfits to select from, you can go to the website and enter the order yourself.

4.  If you have friends that also want to order, email me (maggie965@yahoo.com) and we'll make it a party!  If we do make it a party, AND you have 10 or more orders, you will get a gift certificate to the store!!   If your party totals more than $200, you will also get the free pre selected hostess outfit!  You can't lose!
